TinyHab Privacy Policy

TinyHab respects the privacy of people who use the app to build routines, track progress, and manage personal goals. This Privacy Policy explains what information TinyHab collects, how that information is used, and what choices users have.
1. Information TinyHab Collects
TinyHab may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information such as full name, email address, username, gender, and profile photo.
- Habit data such as habit names, categories, schedules, reminders, positions, completion history, and insight snapshots.
- Support communications such as messages sent to the TinyHab support inbox.
- Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and basic diagnostic events.
2. How TinyHab Uses Information
TinyHab may use personal information to:
- create and maintain a user account,
- authenticate sessions and protect account security,
- store habits and progress history,
- generate productivity insights and consistency summaries,
- send password reset emails and essential service notices,
- improve product reliability, design, and performance,
- respond to support requests and user feedback.
3. Habit and Progress Data
Habit data can include highly personal behavioral information. TinyHab treats this data as private application content and uses it only for product functionality, analytics within the user account, and limited service operations required to keep the app working.
TinyHab does not intentionally sell user habit data to advertisers or data brokers.
4. Legal Bases and Internal Use
TinyHab processes information based on one or more of the following reasons:
- performing the service requested by the user,
- maintaining security and preventing abuse,
- improving internal operations and user experience,
- complying with legal obligations when required.
5. Data Sharing
TinyHab may share limited information with service providers that help operate the product, such as:
- email delivery providers,
- cloud hosting providers,
- storage and media handling providers,
- analytics or monitoring tools used for debugging.
These providers are expected to process data only on behalf of TinyHab and only for the services they provide.
6. Data Retention
TinyHab keeps account and habit data for as long as an account remains active or as needed to provide the service. TinyHab may retain limited backup, security, or log information for a reasonable period after account deletion when necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or operational recovery.
7. Cookies, Tokens, and Session Security
TinyHab uses authentication tokens and related session records to keep users signed in securely. When a user signs in again, TinyHab may invalidate older session tokens and replace them with a new active token.
8. User Choices
Users may be able to:
- update profile details,
- upload or change a profile photo,
- reset a password,
- delete or deactivate habits,
- request support regarding account access or data questions.
9. Children
TinyHab is not directed to children under the age of 13. If TinyHab becomes aware that personal information from a child was collected without appropriate authorization, TinyHab may delete that information.
10. International Transfers
TinyHab may process data in countries other than the country where a user lives. When that happens, TinyHab aims to apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the service.
11. Security
TinyHab uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and TinyHab cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Policy Updates
TinyHab may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are material, TinyHab may update the effective date and provide an in-app or account notice where appropriate.
